The airport Megas Alexandros (27 km from Kavala) is connected with Athens by regularly scheduled
flights and with many cities of the European countries and by charter flights as well. The main
campus in St. Loucas, and the Drama Campus are accessible from Kavala’s Alexander The Great
Airport. A taxi journey from the airport to the main campus costs approximately €30. The airport is
currently not served by public transportation. The airport itself has daily flights to/from Athens.
